Care Instructions for Your BodyZone Apparel

Keep your festival and rave wear looking fresh and fabulous with these care tips! Our pieces are designed to shine bright, and proper care will help them last through countless events.

General Care Guidelines

Before First Wear:

  • Try on your pieces carefully to check fit
  • Remove all tags gently to avoid snagging delicate fabrics
  • For reversible items, test both sides before your event

After Each Wear:

  • Rinse or wash as soon as possible to prevent sweat and body oils from setting
  • Turn garments inside out before washing to protect embellishments
  • Always check care labels for specific instructions

Lycra & Spandex

  • Machine wash cold on gentle cycle or hand wash
  • Use mild detergent - avoid fabric softeners (they break down elasticity)
  • Do not bleach
  • Air dry or tumble dry on low heat
  • Avoid excessive heat which can damage stretch fibers

Metallic Fabrics

  • Hand wash only in cold water
  • Turn inside out to protect finish
  • Air dry only - no heat
  • Do not iron
  • Store away from direct sunlight to prevent fading

Sequins & Rhinestones

  • Hand wash only in cold water with mild detergent
  • Never wring or twist - gently squeeze out excess water
  • Lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight
  • Do not iron directly on sequins or rhinestones
  • Store flat or hanging to prevent crushing embellishments

Mesh & Sheer Fabrics

  • Hand wash or use delicate cycle in a mesh laundry bag
  • Cold water only to prevent stretching
  • Air dry flat or hang to dry
  • Avoid rough surfaces that can snag the fabric
  • Iron on lowest setting if needed, using a pressing cloth

What to Avoid

❌ Bleach or harsh chemicals
❌ High heat (dryers, irons, direct sunlight)
❌ Fabric softeners on stretch fabrics
❌ Rough surfaces that can snag
❌ Overcrowding in storage (causes wrinkles and damage)
